Yash Sinha - Week 16 - The Memories we Made

The Memories We Made

I would like to start this blog off by saying congratulations to all of you for completing this year. We really completed “the hardest Ap at American High School” (not my words). We all worked hard this year to prepare for the AP test which we took this year and I would like to say good job to all of you. Next, I would like to thank you all for helping me get through this year. A big part of why I was able to make it through this class is because I had peers like you who were experiencing it with me. I felt much safer knowing I had the support of my classmates who have been experiencing the same thing throughout the year.

Now, I would like to talk about the memories that we made this year, starting from the first annotations of the year all the way to the AP test. My favorite memory from this year is undoubtedly the Gatsby party just because of the amount of fun it was, however, every class was much more enjoyable than I expected it to be. I thought that this class would not be exciting because I was never very interested in English, however this class has completely changed my perspective of this class and the English subject as a whole and that is all because of you guys who have made this whole year very memorable. Please let me know your favorite memories from this class because I am curious to know. Thank you very much for being such great classmates and I hope you guys enjoyed my company as much as I enjoyed yours. I hope that we can get to know each other better within this next year and also stay in touch. Thank you again.

  1. Hi, Yash! I really liked your blog on the memories we made this school year. I like how you began by congratulating us on completing the school year. I have had a lot of fun learning with you and the others this year in AP English Language this year and in American high school in general. I have created memories this year that I will cherish forever, and have grown immensely as well. I love how you provided a wholesum summary of the year we spent in class. I think the experience that I enjoyed the most would be the Gatsby party, which was like none other I have experienced in an English class. I believe that we will cross paths a lot next year as well, and I will try my best to continue to stay in touch. Thank you for being a wonderful friend, and I hope you have a nice summer.

  2. Hi Yash! This year was certainly an experience. While I hesitate to say that this was a great year, it was definitely one of the best I’ve had on record. AP language has been a learning process and I’m going to miss everyone in the class. There have been some great memories, the Gatsby Party, as always, but some of the more mundane laughing together outside of class, too. I’m sure that one day we’ll all look back on junior year with fond memories and rose tinted glasses, like some of us already do. Your blog this week is a really nice send off to the school year. I hope that see everyone again next year!
